| Bio: | Where to start? I'm a forty-something female with no dependants, working in government health policy (trust me, it's even less exciting than it sounds) in the Bush Capital. I have a large circle of acquaintances and a very small circle of good friends. I have travelled to all continents bar South America and Antarctica, and while I love living in Canberra, if I had my druthers I'd live in Scotland or New Zealand. My flat is full of books and fabric, reflecting my two main pastimes of reading and quilting (I dabble in other hobbies but rarely follow them for long). I rarely write letters anymore and I loathe phones, hence the establishment of this journal, which was supposed to be the way in which my friends could keep up with my activities... if only I could keep up the entries.
